PageMind AI does not collect, store, or sell personal information such as names, email addresses, passwords, or payment details.

The extension may temporarily access the content of the currently active web page when the user explicitly interacts with the extension (for example, clicking a context menu or extension button).

2. How Data Is Used

• Web page text is processed only to provide the core functionality of the extension (summarization, explanation, or analysis).
• The accessed content is used only at the time of the request and is not permanently stored.

3. Data Storage

PageMind AI may use Chrome’s storage API to save user preferences (such as settings or usage limits). No personal or sensitive data is stored.

4. Data Sharing

User data is not sold, shared, or transferred to third parties except when necessary to process a user-requested AI operation.

Any data sent to an AI service is limited to the minimum required to fulfill the user’s request.

5. Permissions

PageMind AI requests the following permissions only to provide its core functionality:

• activeTab – to access the current page when the user activates the extension
• scripting – to inject scripts for content extraction
• contextMenus – to allow user-triggered actions via right-click
• storage – to save extension settings

6. Remote Code

PageMind AI does not execute remote code. All extension logic is included within the extension package.

7. User Control

Users can disable or uninstall the extension at any time through the Chrome Extensions page.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
